I've had this Wintertrek hat for two years and have used it in many cold situations such as overnight back country ski outings. I like it because it keeps my head warm and dry without any discomfort. With other hats I've had the seams would cause discomfort while sleeping or wearing a climbing helmet. So far the only sign of wear is that the tag on the inside has come apart, which has no effect to it's warmth or looks. The only down side is that the zipper has to be adjusted so that it doesn't cause a pressure spot if wearing a helmet, this is easily fixed by leaving it in the unzipped position.
